A great occasion to see Modigliani's Paintings in Rome

Drawings, oil paintings and watercolours by the great Modigliani will go on show in Rome. This Tuscan painter from Livorno lived out his brief but intense and passionate career between Montmartre and Montparnasse in Paris and died aged only 36.This retrospective offers us a view of the artist's development and shows us his chronological evolution. He was enamoured of portraits and did them of friends and, above all, of women. Many of these fell in love with him after he represented them on canvas with sensual soft lines and that emblematic long and refined neck.
